Brixton Brewery have played a huge part in the success of Brixton Chamber Orchestra. They have supported us across various projects including the Summer and Christmas Estates Tours and our BCO Supporters launch party. In 2022 Brixton Brewery have become our headline sponsor enabling us to provide more community experiences and exciting collaborations than ever before.
Studio Equip have been integral to our live performances. They have supported us since the start, donating their time, equipment, expertise and personnel to our varying live performances, allowing us to provide free entertainement to those who cannot afford it, and affordable rates for those who can.
PARTNERS
Arts Council England and the National Lottery have been key to our ability to reach the community, supporting our Summer and Christmas Estates Tours since 2019 and throughout the pandemic, enabling us to continue to bring free live orchestrate music to audiences even when no venues were open. Their continued support towards our community work has given us the ability to reach more people and offer many their first experience of a live orchestra.
Brixton BID have been our most active partner, providing the funds and opportunity to perform on the high street, Brixton markets, Electric Avenue, local parks, playgrounds and various community spaces. The BID have been paramount in helping us achieve our aimes of reaching more people in unexpected places with live orchestrated music of all genres. We continue to work with Brixton BID and other Lambeth BIDs to bring live music to varied communities all over Lambeth.
Lambeth Council have been very supportive in our community annd charitable endeavours. Helping us reach a wider audience across Lambeth via their Lambeth Talks magazine, and by supporting us financially towards our Summer and Christmas Estates Tour. We continue to work with Lambeth Council to further our reach and to offer our artistic endeavours towards collaborative projects across the borough.
Brixton Chamber Orchestra and Bureau of Silly Ideas work collectively on a number of community focused projects including The London Marathon, Coronation Carnival, The Ashes and the Summer Estates Tour. We love working with BOSI to further our ideas and make an even bigger impact on the local community.
